The Buddy System is just that… get your buddy to come in and take a look at your place and give you a customer’s perspective. It works much better if your buddy is a fellow restaurant owner and you establish some parameters. Keep in mind that this is a business improvement exercise and you can not be defensive or let your feelings get hurt; you want them to be brutally honest and you must listen before making excuses why things are the way they are.
